Forum Jobs, the cool the crazy on the edge

I was at work today and thinking my job is pretty different and dangerous. Then I got to thinkin does anyone else on the forums have interesting jobs or have had interesting jobs. I dont wanna hear that you sit in an office on the comp all day no offense but this aint the right thread for that.

So as for me, I'm currently working for my dad who has a high rise building maintenance company. We mostly do window cleaning and pressure cleaning but we'll do ne thing that requires someone to go off the side of a high rise instead of setting up a stage which costs thousands jst to set up all we use is a 4 x 1.5 foot little bench rope and d rings and a few other things. We've done things like remove bees wood peckers paint remove stucco hang banners hang solar panels w/e. we also do some residential and clubhouses and stuff. Here is a picture of my dad in the newspaper, sorry no pics of me on the comp

http://www.naplesnews.com/news/2007/...d_clean_sweep/

we also hang from these buildings

22 floors

34 floors

18-21 floors

we do the club house and guard shack. most beautiful community you'll ever see. that is not the beach that is a man made lake/ocean. it is insanely huge

Well... I do sit at a desk... but occasionally I get to go play in the jungles of Costa Rica, do GIS mapping down there... Got to check out Vulcan Poas (Volcano) and Cararra (no bullshit rain forest where the monkeys chase you and try to pee on you... I'm serious! haha) Been down there twice now, doing the GIS work (Info Tech side of it for me and taking photos) it is pretty awesome what you see...

I've been on the top of large transmission towers and wind turbines with clients.

There are some pictures somewhere on the office shared drive.

When I worked at Microsoft I accidentally knocked BillG over when he was comming out of an elevator.. I swear I didnt see him..

He just got up, said "sorry" and kept going.

That was (potentially) a dangerous career move.
