WEEZER!!

I'm watching MTV and they are showing advertisements for Weezer. I'm no groupy so I don't keep up with bands that I like or dislike. That's pretty cool that they are coming out with another album. I know Rivers graduated from grad school I believe and I thought he was going to do something else. This will be the 3rd time I believe that they have changed their sound. The Blue album and Pinkerton sounded about the same. The Green album, Maladroit, and Make Believe had their sound. Their new album seems to once again have a new sound. I support bands that changed their sound because that's something you have to do to keep up with the ever changing music industry. I've seen Weezer twice!! Once when Dashboard Confessional opened for them in 2002, and when they played like a double main act paired with the Foo Fighters in 2005. I guess I will be seeing them again in the future.

Re: WEEZER!!

I love Weezer. It's one of the few bands that when they put an album together, its 16 good songs you can listen to, not one or two.

Re: WEEZER!!

That's true. I wasn't the biggest fan of Make Believe but I have played the shit out of the Blue, Green, Pinkerton, and Maladroit albums. Maladroit I really loved because it came out right around me graduating high school and it was kind of symbolic. It has nothing really to do with the songs, but the album definitely gave me a warm fuzzy feeling.
