Well.... me and a group of friends are gonna be heading out to a import meet and well since 2 of the other drivers have a cobalt ss and gti we decided to have some fun on the way there ....

I know its a dumb question but should i lose the cargo weight (tire jacks etc) and is it even worth it?

Edit: cobalt is stock, me and gti are pretty much stock just intake and other itsy bitsy stuff.

Performance: CP-E Downpipe, Cobb SRI, Twm Shifter Bushings, Corksport Inserts, Redline MT-90.
Looks: Lamin-x Fog film w/ Luminics Jdm yellow bulbs, 6000k HID, Red Calipers w/ mazda logo

Lose the cargo weight. What good does it do you, if you get a flat call AAA.

Titanium Grey HB 5 spd, ABS, Moonroof, Leather seats, Exel RS-GT 17x7.0 Hyperblack 225/45/17 Azenis RT-615, Racing Beat Front/Rear Sway + Endlinks, Mazdaspeed MSP3 Coilovers, 88 AWR Mount, Apexcone 6000k HID, I deturboed my car and removed my built engine. I'm now stock powertrain + an Injen.

If I was you, I'd fill your trunk with heavy, large rocks. Chances are you'll still win, or be even. Then you can pull over at the meet and pop your trunk full of rocks.

Keep your fuel down to a 1/4 tank, then make all your friends pull over every 50 miles to refill lol.

what year is the ss?

if itsan older supercharged one, dont bother losing any of the weight. Have them take out all their crap, and put it in your car. Help even out their odds

speaking of losing weight, I removed the spare and tools in the back.
but now board in the trunk buckles - anyone figured any fixed for this ?

Am probably thinking of throwing something in the back to fill up all that empty space.
a Big cardboard box ?

ideas ?

AAA can't help you if you don't have your spare.
