Re: Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core (or FF Series in General) Thread

If I had a PSP I would have the game, but sadly I don't. It probably won't happen, but I hope Square revists FF7 in a future FF game for a major console and keeps it an RPG. Heck even one in walk around/combat styling of FFXII would be awesome (its grown on me a huge amount since I started playing FFXII).

One other thing I would love to see is a final fantasy game where summons are actually worth while again. The really neutered them in FFXII. At the very least they should have allowed you to control your full group while also summoning instead of replacing all but the summoner.

*sigh*, my biggest issue is that I have no time to play FFXII anymore since I have a 4 month old son. I need to try to fit a bit more time in in the next couple of weeks. Its been probably 3 weeks since I have played and I am really close to the end of the game. Probably 2hrs if I play straight through and maybe 10-15hrs if I try to complete the final hunts and some of the other misc stuff that is left.

I am really looking forward to FFXIII, that will probably be the reason why I finally buy a PS3.

CC was a sweet game. Played right through it in a couple days. It was actually the reason I bought my PSP... which I absolutely LOVE!

I am going to have to agree with Matt on this one... FFXIII = me buying PS3.

Re: Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core (or FF Series in General) Thread

Yes that is one reason why i'm glad I own a PS3... can't wait for that to come out. Crisis core is more like XII style of fighting except it's one character. Sometimes it's hard to summon spells and attacks correctly in this style because I am running around trying to prevent the monsters from hitting me while looking for cure or an attack. The music is great in this game though, and it's awesome to revisit a lot of the characters from the original VII game and movie.

I wish they would come out with a remake of Final Fantasy VI (SNES version, otherwise known as III here in the states).. that is still my favorite one of all time.

Oh man, I accidentally used two phoenix downs once while trying to switch attacks.

My Biggest beef with the game is how the Summons are random. I donít like that.

I never really got into FF3 I think I am going to have to DL zsnes and give it a go.

Yeah, i hate also how summons are much harder to find. I haven't seen one activate yet cause all i have is one and it doesn't happen to land on it, ever. The other thing that bothered me is that Genesis just doesn't shut up about loveless...

LOL and playing FF3 on ZSNES is awesome... i have it on my psp emulator too i believe.
