so yes i got a speeding ticket. going 90 in a 70. yes my x50 did pick it up but my dad was sleeping so i had my ipod on and i didn't hear my radar go off. the officer said 85+ i can't do defensive driving. also on ticket, it said i drive a mazda axela instead of a mazda3 cause i debadged and rebadged my car, does that matter?

I'm an officer in WV and the name of the car doesn't matter. The VIN number should be on there. I hope you were nice with the cop. If you were he may remember that if you came to court. Set up a court date and tell him that you want to lessen the points on the ticket. You can still pay the same fine but not have the points. Most of the time the officers are willing to do so.

well good luck. But I recommend for you to NOT drive using headphones. As it completely blocks other sounds. play music via car speakers, and not too loud, so you can hear other vehicles.
