F***ing Washington State

My regular commute from home to work is 30 miles, all freeway with a 70 mph speed limit. WA state decided that they wanted almost the entire 200 mile stretch of freeway to be 60 mph now. Not only that they are calling the whole area a "work zone" so that if anyone is caught speeding, then the fine is double. This really sucks, cause now I got to leave earlier for work and get home later.

Yeppers. Don't be surprised if you see a return to lower speed limits on all highways in the next 2-5 years.

Re: F***ing Washington State

I thought that speed limit was determined by the number of residents in a particular county? Have more people moved to that area recently?

**not on this forum and not unless its in a for sale thread.

Re: F***ing Washington State

Speed limit is the recommended speed that can be driven on a particular road under ALL conditions.

That does suck. I won't be in a rush to get to Portland anytime soon. At least there working on our crappy roads.
