CSI fans, I need help on choosing a season DVD set.

One of my friends loves CSI and her birthday is coming up so i figured i'd get a DVD set. Only problem, I don't watch it at all and have no clue which spin off is best, which seasons are good, etc. It's really an open ended question, but I just want to know what your favorite season of CSI has been. I've read that season three and five were good. Anywho, thanks yo.

Season 5 I am pretty sure has the Grave Danger Episodes Best Episodes ever directed by: Quentin Tarantino LOVED it. 3 is good too but 5 I think was the best.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is pretty gay
CSI: NY is probably the best, plus they have Gary Sinise, he's awesome
CSI: Miami is uber-cheesy, but tolerable. It has that soap opera attitude to it to me, all the characters act like their acting, rather than act like their police

I'd recommend CSI:NY

normal CSI is the best, the others are crap.

Grissom = awesome

I'm not really sure what seasons are good, I just watch the reruns on spike

Re: CSI fans, I need help on choosing a season DVD set.

Grissom = William Peterson is the reason for all the other CSI's. I don't like New York or Miami. Vegas is the only one in my book and my girlfriend and I watch it on Spike all the time. We love it! It also comes on CBS, but we never can catch it on Thursday nights to watch it. The last episode I caught on CBS was when they were trying to catch the girl who was making crime scene's out of miniatures, and then it would actually happen. Anyone know what happened between Sarah Ciddle and Grissom, since I do believe their relationship was becoming public?
