for those with the blackberry curve..

how did you get your gps to work? mine just shows green lines for ever and ever..

also how did you get AIM to work? it told me to go on a website, which i tried on the phone and my computer and neither worked. said i needed some update, go to blackberry.com but that didnt help at all.

i know there was something else that was fishy about mine but i cant remember right now. my plan is with tmobile and i have no extra t-zones or anything. just minutes, texting, and the free wifi that comes with the phone. model is the 8200 (gold edition) if it matters.

thanks in advance
Alex

you're saying the bb can only view certain sites? but not the update ones? Are the update ones a link to a file? Like a .exe or .zip?

I cant remember if theres a tool or function where you just click search for updates (without opening the browser). Did a bit of Blackberry trouble shooting at my co op in the summer. Older models though. 7250, 7270.

Re: for those with the blackberry curve..

hmm.. no idea where that is either. i need to read the "bible" that came with it

ill probably just take it to a t-mobile and see what the deal is. if they cant fix it, its a defect. rather than me just flipping through page after page guessing.

i just figured someone on here would be like "oh i had the same thing, just do this..." but maybe im a loner on this one

could be. It seems like the links it gives you are outdated or some BS. Yeah take it to your vendor, or call up some support.
