Details? How many tickets have you had? How many points do you have on your license? When is the next time you will see the judge?

Re: bout to lose my license.....

6 months

http://www.dmv.org/oh-ohio/point-system.php

Penalties

If you accumulate six points on your license within a two-year period, you'll receive a warning letter. If you accumulate 12 or more in that period, your driving privileges will be suspended for six months. After that period, you'll need to take a remedial driving course. Then you'll have to take the driving test again.

If you're caught driving while on suspension, you will be guilty of a first-degree misdemeanor and also face a possible $1,000 fine or six months in jail―or both. You may also lose your license for another year.

Re: bout to lose my license.....

More details are good.

In the future maybe if you are looking at a suspended license you should try, you know driving closer to the speed limit and that sort of thing (obviously).

I'd be careful about driving with a suspended license and be EXTRA careful to drive the speed limit, not run redlights, etc.

Often times if they catch you driving on a suspended license they will revoke it for a long time, as well as huge fines. Jail time isn't out for driving on a suspended or revoked license as well. Generally if you have a revoked license they won't allow you to renew your vehicle registrations, etc, etc, etc.

So you know, next time try not to get into a situation of your own making.

Re: bout to lose my license.....

well, i think i had 11 points before this last ticket. six months sucks, but is what i was expecting. i was just cruising along with traffic and got nailed for 79 in a 65. i just happened to be alone in the right lane. damn it. oh well, i'm sure if they allow drunks to get work priveledges that they'll allow me. so i'll have to take the driving test again, heh? that sucks. and does anyone know how much that driving class costs?

Are you kidding me? He shouldn't be driving period, if he were to drive while suspended.

If a officer runs his tags and he is the registered owner. It will show that the registered owners license is suspended and all the officer has to do is match the description of the r.o. to the person who is driving the car.
