Re: the 3 dominates again

The sad part is it gets great reviews from motortrend and consumer reports, however it isn't worth crap in a trade-in. That is what's so disappointing. We are better than all other compact sedans, yet the Civic can still probably get better trade in value than our cars

makes me wish i had the 2.3 in my car. But paying an extra 5 thousand for gt trim, not worth it.

no car labeled "economy" car is going to do well in trade in. Sadly BMWs arent doing to well on their trade ins either. When I traded in mine for the mazda3 I only got $3500 for it. It was a 1995 in mint condition but it was getting too expensive for me. That and 4 cyl for some reason do pooring on trade in, mine was a 318ti (hense it was a four cyl )

our car is definitely the best bang for your buck. I have a basic 07 sport hatch but for base model it is loaded compared to all the other model cars in its class and it has the best looks inside and out! Love it! Now if only more aftermarket companies would see this article and get on the ball for more support out there! especially lips for 07 + lol

Re: the 3 dominates again

Well, maybe that will change if the Mazda 3 can survive as long as the Civic. Hell the Civic has been around since the 80's? Mazda has easily 24 more years left to get that good market name. When you hear Civic you think car that you can put 200K miles on. That has never been said about any Mazda.
