I hit a dog...
I just got off of work... on the way home... I was behind this car so I switched lanes to pass... as soon as I pulled to the other lane... I see a dog there... it was too late for me to 'react' and do anything. I slammed on the brakes as soon as I can... then BAM... I hit the dog. I pulled into a office parking lot to check if anything dragging on the car real fast and went back to check the dog. It was on the busy street at busy hour... lots of cars and the dog happened to just walk out to the street. The dog had a leash on... looks like the owner got a lost of grip and it ran from them. The dog was okay after laying on the ground for about 5-10 seconds... right after I hit it... I can hear the dog scream loudly and on its back through the rear view mirror, the dog got back up before I drove into the office parking lot. I went back and the dog was inside of the owner's car, asked if the dog was okay... and they said it's fine. Phew! The dog was the husky kind of dog... HUGE head... glad it's okay.
My car, on the other hand, was better than I expected. I was expecting a busted bumper at least, I guess I was going under 40 mph... it's ok. The dog's saliva was near the middle of the bumper, sand/dirt got on my car... I don't know how but the dog happened to spin and hit my fender and door... dent a little bit, nothing major... so yeah...

Wow.
Can't believe the dog was fine......it's good though - it would have been an awkward moment on the highway with you, the family, and their dead dog
