Leap Year Baby

Interesting convo topic possibly.

What if you were born on February 29? If you only had 1/10000000 of a second to celebrate your birthday every 3 years between February 28th and March 1st.

How do people work these types of things out? Does that make you 3 days younger every 4 years lol.

Discuss.

Re: Leap Year Baby

I knew someone with their bday on the 29th, and I don't know when they celebrated, but they said their age was w/e it was (current year minus birth year) then they occasionally joked saying "I'm 3 years old tomorrow" when they turned "12"

My best friend in middle school was a leap year baby. You either have your bday on the 28th or the 1st.

Re: Leap Year Baby

i would guess the first, because you were born after the 28th... at least thats how i would do it. My older brother was born on the 27th on a leap year, barely cleared it, haha

yeah... except my actual birthday doesn't disappear for a couple years. It would make the most sense to just celebrate it on the 1st when its not leap year, as you would of been born the day after the 28th.

Re: Leap Year Baby

I would celebrate it the day after feb 28th. end of story. That would make it March 1st.

Re: Leap Year Baby

I believe legally on non-leap years your birthday is March the 1st for legal age issues (such as turning 18, 21, etc).
