An Eventful Drive In The Snow

So it snowed a decent amount today in Maryland... Anyways, so my daddy calls my mommy and tells her that we need to leave work early because it's getting really bad outside.... Two hours later, we finally leave work (3PM). So we left together but then I ended up passing her and ended up being about 20 minutes ahead of her.

Anyways, so my drive home wasn't too bad when I was driving on 495 and then 650 where it's two lanes. Eventually 650 turns into one lane and that's when I started to slide a bit... But nothing serious. It was all like this:

I finally get off of 650 and get onto route 97... Which isn't bad either...

That picture is right before I have to make a left turn... Well I went right past the street because I couldn't stop!! I'm braking on and off for like half a mile and then finally decide to try to go near the shoulder/grass and I FINALLY stop! So I U-turn and turn onto Jennings.... YUCK!

At first it's mostly slush but then it's lots and lots of snow... I'm sliding all over the place!

Well then I decide to take a video of me sliding...

And then decided I should keep recording and..... I get STUCK going up the hill!!!

So I try going backwards a little to go forwards again and well I end up sliding down a bit and find myself completely stuck SIDEWAYS in the middle of the road! I call my mom and tell her I'm stuck and she tells me to call my dad... When he's like what do you want me to do? And then this guy in a pick up truck pulls up next to me and asks me if I need any help! I pretty much rush my dad off the phone and tell this guy yes I do! So he calls his cousin (they both live right down the street...My neighborhood is like half a mile up the street) and tells me to try and move back onto the side of the road. Somehow I manage to back up and get onto the other side. When his cousin arrives, he tells him to go get a chain and then he goes looking under my front and rear bumpers looking for where to hook me up to their other truck... Well he asks me if my car came with a book. I said yes, then he asks if I have the book so I give it to him... He figures out that he can hook the chain up to my front bumper and gets it all ready. His cousin finally comes back and they pull me up the hill!! Then I got stuck in my driveway!!!! LOL. My mom finally arrived once they pulled me up the hill and I had to have her go in front of me in the drive way so I could drive in her tracks.... But we have different garages spots so daddy ended up having to shovel the snow that was in front of my car to get into the garage!

What an eventful drive in the snow....LOL. Here are some pictures...

Ya...the "stock" tires except they've all been replaced since I bought the car.... Last week when I got an oil change they said I needed new tires...
