Credit reports and Theives

OK so in 2005 I went to get my free credit report and when I got to the transunion webpage it asked for my previously set up username and password....my uh what? So I called and was like I didn't set up this account but I want to reset it....they were like well u have to call this number to reset it but I have locked it so until then no one can log in. Something came up and I never got around to doing it so I went to check it before I bought my 3 and couldn't log in so I just went w/the other 2...I just went to log in again b/c I haven't gotten a transunion report since 04 b/c of not being able to get in...I go to the forget username and password to see what it'll give me and it said it couldn't pull it up and to call customer service...ok I call give them all my info..."OK you acct is locked...u have to call this number to reset ur username and password" ok....so I call and wait 15 min to talk to someone who says "Ah I see your account is locked" Me: OK her: "It says you called and had it locked saying you never set up the acct" Me: Correct her: I can't unlock it. Me: Okk so what do I do? Her: You have to call this number if you want a credit report. Me: So you're saying I can NEVER view my credit report online b/c of this? Her: yes it's a security thing your SSN is locked. Me: Well if I'd known that I would have just asked for the username and password to be reset.

Yea so when I called to lock the acct....why didn't they send me a copy to make sure there was nothing fraudulent on there? My other 2 reports don't show anything weird so I guess I'm OK...Just stressed!
