anyone here work in the music industry?

Anyone here currently employed at a record label, studio, or anything regarding the music industry? Just curious to see if anyone here is into that kind of stuff also.

I used to be in the artist side, and thought a few times about managing bands. But never got into it full on.

yepp, we enjoyed it. recorded there, mixed/edited at john's place, and mastered at their brother studio next door.

i might try and put a sampler here on the forums and see if anyone wants to buy one. prolly have to talk to the mods though, since im not sure if that is normally "allowed" but technically it is my own copyrighted music so i dont see why not..

They let me post links to selling my CD in the FOR SALE section ... then you just link your sig to that thread. It's no different than if you were selling a guitar or a set of lug nuts for your car or something.

Re: anyone here work in the music industry?

As long as you're selling it in the for sale section and following the forum rules on selling items, sure ... I don't see why not?

not available

plus this supports local music. we are seniors in a high school band that paid over $2k (personally, not parents or sponsors) to have a professional album before we all split for good. we are not an established band of 40 year old guys who have been touring for years or anthing..

we played our cd release show this past weekend donating all the door fee's to charity.

but anyway, ill see about getting a sound clip of parts of the songs and make a thread.. its pretty much modern day 60's/70's music. 8 songs: one surf type, a few progressive rock, one psychedelic, and a couple funky style songs.

Evo VIII: not stock.
