Calling all snowboarders: Opinions needed.

So I'm currently riding a 07 162 Custom. I'm six foot and weight 180lbs with a size 10 boot. I already have a 08 ROME ANTHEM in a 159 and a 08 CUSTOM X in a 156. I can't decide which one to keep and which one to sell off.

The 162 is pretty sweet and I fly down the mountain at skier speed but I'm starting to play a bit in the park and wanted to get into a shorter board. What do you guys think is better to have: a 162 for pow days and a 156 for local mountains and for the park. OR and 162 for the pow days and a 159 for everything else including the park etc.

I'd easily go with the two customs but I'd hate to carry around 2 boards with me "in case".

I wish I had the best of both worlds. One board that can do it all with out compromise . . .

According to this:

http://frostyrider.com/tips/size-guide.htm

I should be in the 156, but it's strictly for freestyle type of riding i.e. park.

If I choose freestlye/freeride they put me in a 161.

Help a dude out.

Sell all of your boards and get a Forum or a Ride

Heh. Marshall is great for the one liners

I ended up getting a '06 Ride Yukon 168, but I'm a big mo fo and don't plan on going in to the park. For twisting it up in the park, and going on local groomed runs, the shorter board probably won't hinder you at all. I guess it would depend on how easily you can rotate and pop the 159 versus the 156? The lightest, most controllable setup *should* serve you better.

Now: WedsSport, Dunlop, TechnaFit, Hawk, DBA, ApexCone, AEM, Koni, AWR, CP-E, Racing Beat. Soon: Exedy.

Damn a 168? I'm 6'4" too and I think I'd go with a 165.

I'm trying to get to the point where I don't even use one liners, just a single word like ... "yo"
