Use Media Player Classic? Or is that not an option...

Re: windows media player

If the movie is naturally scrunched up, I haven't found a good method of stretching it out using Media Player (chime in if you know how).

The tool most people I know use is Media Player Classic (not from Microsoft). It just lets you do a lot more cool stuff than Media Player.

After you get it installed and start playing the movie, if you right click on the movie and go to 'Pan&Scan' you will see a wide variety of options that will help you descrunch your movie.

Re: windows media player

this seems to happen randomely to me and i've no idea why actually... basically the movie stays as a square?

i usually double click on the movie playing and *pop* it goes widescreen.

Re: windows media player

Oh ok if it randomly happens and it's not naturally scrunched up then maybe a diff solution would be best.

Re: windows media player

Is it possible that its the newest version of wmp? After the gym I will see if I can downgrade and see if that fixes the problem.
