help me w/ my ipod!

i wanna take the songs off my ipod & put them onto my computer. (the songs on my ipod came from a different computer) how the hell do i do it?!?!?!? it's saying that my ipod can't be sync'd with 2 different computers. :x

i think you would need itunes for that. yeah it sucks how we can't just open the ipod folder and just drag into a another folder.

You'll have to enable your iPod for disk use. Unfortunately, if you haven't already done it, it has to be done on the original computer.

Once you have disk use enabled, go into Itunes and go File > Add folder to library and select your whole ipod as the folder.

Don't know if that works with the newer iPods, but that's how I used to do it in the past with my 4th Gen.

i guess i should be more specific. i'm trying to take the songs off my ipod & load them onto my playlist on itunes. i'm using 2 different computers

Man, I could've used that bit of advice when I got my new computer last year...ended up having to reconstruct all 300-odd playlists manually. Getting the music itself from the old drive to the new was one thing, that was something else!

One thing I forgot to mention. If you want to copy all the music, you'll have to go into Preferences > Advanced, and select "Copy to Itunes Music folder when adding to library" or something like that.

Or do things the illegal way!!! I actually didn't know about this program, but now that I do, I'll be going about it this way. The illegal way. The RIGHT way.
