bad launch > driving a saturn

hokay so today i go back to my house then realize i needed to go to the bank.. so i set off on my music blasting journey... on the way some saturn keeps tailgating everyone and im like oh lord just pass me before you rear end me, so he goes to the side of me and his windows (crank roll down btw ) go down. he looks at me and my car and is like dude! is that one of those turbo ones?! and im like nah bro, regular.. i wish. hes like ah, well its clean man! (blah blah blah continues about his racing stories of speed3's and getting his ass handed to him) then hes like you wanna go? im like meh i guess. unfortunately i misshifted on that one . he obviously realized when we got to the next light and he kept saying how he got owned by the speeds but wanted to see what the regular ones could do. asked me the power, etc.

then when the light turned green he asked again, wanna go? before i could answer he launched. im like wtf (i was starting like i was about to cruise :P) so i hjavascript:moreSmileys();
[more]it the gas and popped out the clutch (cuz im not going to let some base saturn take me, obviously). because of my lack of a launch he got the line, by mid to upper 2nd i was even with him and by mid to upper 3rd i had about 2 cars on him if not more..

i slow down and he comes back and is like see, my car aint that bad for stock is it? im like meh, guess not. he chuckles and is like cya round!

note: his car couldnt be stock . not because he won, because he didnt.. even when he got the launch he still got owned, but i could hear his car through mine(i have intake, header, exhaust, no cats) so he had something.. dont know what it was.

either way though, not very clean races between me misshifting first time and being caught off guard second when he took off without a response, id still rather miss the launch and catch up (which i did) than own a saturn

Evo VIII: not stock.

ion, looked like an 04 or 05 or so.. from what i could see the dash was MIA, all it was was the gauges (stock) rest of the interior seemed there though.

not a redline though, unless he swapped engines and couldnt drive for shit.

Further proof that Saturns are junk.

If you look for the bad in people expecting to find it, you surely will.
