Mid atlantic is floating away

Okay, we needed rain. I won't dispute that for a second. But jesus I think Maryland is going to seperate from the rest of the lower 48 and float away. Damn stupid weathermen called for like 1 1/2 inches of rain over 3 days. I would be shocked if we haven't gotten at least 4 to maybe 5-6 inches of rain in 3 days and it doesn't seem like it is going to stop any time soon.

Oh and get this, weather.com actually has the chutzpah to say that the current weather conditions are "Light rain". It was raining pretty steady and heavy my whole drive into work this morning (I hate weekend software releases) and it was pouring for some of it.

Light rain my ass.

I hate the rain. Weatherman says its going to stop tonight though.

Rain gets everyone depressed. I just hate working in it.

Haven't checked the radar maps, but I'm guessing this is the same massive rain system that dumped on the midwest for literally 2 weeks straight. I thought the apocalypse was coming when one day the sky turned this strange blue color and this big ball of fire started arcing across the sky.... turns out I just forgot what a freakin sunny day looked like.

It must be raining hard. I can't usually hear is hitting my roof. My friend is getting married today. I hope it lets up by noon.

Not sure where the wedding is, but it looks like where I am just west of baltimore it might stop raining in the next 30-60 minutes. Radar map shows it has almost passed. Maybe sunshine by noon then!

That would be awesome. I have some gardening to do this weekend among other work on my house. I've gotta take down an arborvite and I don't relish doing that with a soaked ground.

Re: Mid atlantic is floating away

Judging by the radar, rain should be outta here by 2pm for south jersey! YAY!

Just in time for trick-o-treat for all the kiddies. Trick-o-Treat here is 2-5. Which is lame, cuz our town won't let the kids trickortreat in the dark. Meanwhile the more dangerous surrrounding cities that have twice the murders and rapes have trickor treat from 4-7.

Yep, I know SoCal needs it, but so do those of us who live in Georgia. We're under a total watering ban.
