I feel like that terrible person
So I was backing out of my space this morning and bumped another car. It didn't look like I had done any damage to it (I was almost stopped backing up when I went just a bit to far). I was going to write a note, but I didn't have anything to write with in my car with me. I waited for a minute or two but the owner did say come running out of their house (and not sure who owns the car). I am planning on writing a note and sticking it on the car when it is parked there tonight and/or tracking down the owner, but I still feel really bad that I didn't stick a note on their car this morning.
I basically backed into their tire and their wheel well caught the corners of my bumper. Maybe I did do some damage to their car (I didn't see any dents or paint transfer to their car), but when I got into work and looked at my bumper I had gotten some paint transfer on my car and left two small gouges (pretty tiny). A bit of a buff and a small amount of touch up paint and you won't even notice it on my car, but I feel really bad like maybe I did some damage to their car and I just didn't look close enough.
So apparently I am that terrible person (even though I will track down the owner).
PS On a side note, even though this was totally my fault, it has been annoying me for a long time that the person who owns the car has been parking it on the curb right behind my car for the longest time now when there are plenty of open parking spaces around that can't be more then an extra 20-30ft walk and don't make it so you nearly (or in this case needed to of) have to make a 3 point turn just to back out of your parking space.
