Hunter found guilty in death of Hmong man

http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/10/06/hun....ap/index.html

I don't know, there seems to be a lot of shooting deaths while "hunting" involving Hmong's in Wisconsin. Just a few years ago, a Hmong man went on a killing spree in the woods in Wisconsin, now this.

I love this line from one of the relatives:

"In my native country, if you are guilty you are guilty. There is no first or second degree," said Yee Vang, the victim's older brother, through an interpreter.

His responses were through an intrepreter. Another useless bunch of people that want things their way and are unwilling to fit in. Sound familiar, guess we're getting it from the north and south now.

Okay sure, but that doesn't mean the guys brother-in-law deserved to be murdered. Hell most or all of them are here legally at least.

The part that got me was "they crossed paths while hunting squirrels". Hunting squirrels? Seriously? Ya'll don't have any large game in Wisconsin or something? I mean, I have heard of varmit hunting before...but it ususally involves taking out ground hogs or gophers that are tearing up your lawn or killing a few squirrels that are eating away at your bird feeders...not heading out to the woods to try to track down some squirrels.

Seriously, what are they going to think of next in the back woods? Road kill hunting?

Re: Hunter found guilty in death of Hmong man

Nobody knows exactly what happened. Hmong's in general are rude to americans. I've lived in northern Wisconsin. I've dealt with large numbers of these people. Most are useless and of less fortitude than the illegal pieces of **** that are in the news all the time. Any group that doesn't want to join the US and instead want's to do things their own way, by their own laws, in our country, should be removed or eliminated.

+1, lol the "eliminated" part was kind of makin' me laugh. I remember a cop in Texas say the same thing about the racist Cowboy wannabes all over the place. He was telling me about lots of calls where one was beating his wife because she didn't get off the phone and another for answering the door.

From reading the article, if the guys was scared enough to change is story, then he's making stuff up. So, then he's quilty. I call BS too on him being shot at for getting in the way of a squirrel hunt. Guy needs to own up to the murder.

Re: Hunter found guilty in death of Hmong man

Well, the line that gets me is the line that is bolded. See, that's what's wrong with a lot of people that aren't aware of our laws. Maybe in your native country he would have been sentenced to death BUT you don't live in your native country. If you wish to abide by the laws of your native country, why are you here? It's simple...i believe this is one of the underlining problems with some of the cultural differences...the lack of knowledge or will to adapt to a new culture.
