Koi ponds

Ok guys here is the deal, My wife and I just put a new contract on a house. A town house. We have a somewhat small back yard but it is a fresh canvas. I love working in the yard and have quite a green tumb. Call me gay but besides working on my car, working in the yard/garden is where I find peace.

I find koi ponds so peaceful.

My question is this, Does anyone know anything about Koi ponds? I would love to make one. I know they are allot of work, but they pay off and are so amazing.

If I fill half my tank with Shell V-Power gas and the other half with Chevron with Techron gas will I have V-TEC gas?

Dude I am sorry that you give off trollish qualities. I will start the list of why your life sucks.

1. You think you are this ultra hip rocker that knows everything about music, but really dude you look so emo.
2. You live in Candaduh, nuff said.
3. You are pissed because you still live and home with your rents and pissed that I won't let you over to come feed my Koi.
4. Angry because you can't get booty. Dude you need to get some moisture on that thing. It is like a plant if it doesn't get moisture it falls off.
5. You just plain suck.
6. Upset that you don't have e-friends from the forums.
7. You are a very bitter angry dude. You need help, now go take your meds and goto sleep hoe.

Now if you want to continue to be a troll

I am asking a serious question. Not starting a thread where dudes with no manners or tact come in and be GAY.

Well this thread hasn't started off very well...

Please lets try and keep it on topic.

Make sure that koi are legal in your state. I know I used to live in Maine, and they were illegal to have.

Re: Koi ponds

Welcome. I was just checking because there was this big story of a Chinese food restaurant in Maine where the guy got into big legal trouble for having a koi pond inside the restaurant.

Personally, I think its a cool idea. If you can pull it off, it would be a nice tranquil setting to hang out in and enjoy.

I am all about it, before the car show yesterday we went to the owner of Dash motorsports/Teckadmics/Mischief.tv

And this dude had A HUGE Koi pond. He had over 150 Koi in their this was the size of a small swimming pool..

Anyone know how long they live? I am reading about them now. I might just do large goldfish.

Re: Koi ponds

check out kokosgoldfishworld.com she has a huge forum with thousands of members and its dedicated to goldfish/koi and has lots of good pond info. make sure you have a pond large enough to support the fish you intend to keep. also you'll have to be careful with wildlife poaching your pond.

would help if i gave you the correct link

No wildlife, I live in an area that we have none

Beside my backyard has a 6 foot privacy fence.
