Bassnutz/Schroeder bass cabinets.

As some of you may know, I'm a bassplayer. And I've been working together with a really cool dude named Jorg Schroeder on building my own cabs. These are just the frames for now. The speakers are there, just not installed yet. There's going to be a red Rhino linning going on all of them first. I'll have more information on them in a couple weeks. Just thought I'd share this with my fellow car bros!

These are new beginning of the Schroeder/Bassnutz cabs in the works.

I will be a 21015, one a 215, and one a 115. More information will be available as I get it.

Oddly enough, when you add Rhino linning to the outside of a bass cab, it gives it a better tone. Not to mention the durability.

Re: Bassnutz/Schroeder bass cabinets.

Okay, here's an update of what the cabs look like so far, and the info for each cab.

The single 15". 400 Watts RMS, other specs, (weight, dementions, price) to follow.

The 21015. 900 Watts RMS, other specs, (weight, dementions, and price) to follow.

The 215. 800 Watts RMS, other specs (weight, dementions, and price) to follow.

Now Jorg tells me these watts ratings are very conservative. I'm sure they can handle alot more than what's posted. And if all goes well, we'll put these to the test and see what they'll really handle.

As I get more information, so will all of you!

Can I ask what type of wood you used. It looks like press board. From my car stereo exp that is not the best tpye of wood since there could be gaps in the pressing. None the less they look great.

The wood is made from Birch. It's a very light weight wood, and very common in high end bass cabinets. Some companies use MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard). While it's not a bad wood for cabs, they just crumble in palces. Birch is a great wood.
