Just curious about GOOD DEEP DISH PIZZA

OK, so my travels have taken me here to Chicago. I will be in Schaumburg all this week. Can anyone recommend a good, authentic Chicago Deep Dish Pizza? Someone recommended Lou Malnati's to me tonight, and I tried it and really liked it. I want to try another sometime tomorrow night.....does anyone have any recommendations who might be able to deliver in the Shaumburg area??

bw -

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm limited without transportation but I see two of them that might actually deliver to where I am. I had someone tell me good things about them but had someone tell me bad things about them. Have you had a deep dish from Giordano's?

when I was out there visiting a friend of mine, we went to Gino's East. While you're at it, get a pitcher of 312 beer

Re: Just curious about GOOD DEEP DISH PIZZA

I say just find a hole in the wall place if you can. I wandered downtown till I found an Italian place and sat down. It was vaguely near Navy Pier nearish Michigan Ave. It wasn't actually deep dish, but it was damn good. I was just sad that I didn't have a fridge in my hotel to keep the last 2 slices (out of 8, and we are talking a 10x16" pizza here about 3" thick with toppings).
