Robert Jordan died

For any of you who are Sci-Fi Fantasy readers you've probably heard of Robert Jordan, author of The Wheel of Time series. He died yesterday from complications of amyloidosis, a rare disease he's been fighting for the past two years.

Re: Robert Jordan died

Especially since the last book in his series has yet to be released. It was supposed to be released next year, and he intended for there to be only one more book even if you needed a wheelbarrow to carry it around. I haven't heard anything on whether his wife Harriet (also his editor) will be finishing the book.

i hope they end up releasing the last book, it would make the series incomplete without it--sadly i only read the first book--

I totally agree..... though I think it isn't really coming up because people don't want to be seen as insensitive. Personally I think RJ would really want the series finished.

btw I have the rest of the books up to 11 if you're interested.
