Ok so speak up fellas - Funniest/Worst time getting rejected by a girl.

Ok so mine actually happened tonight...

Me and my buddy where driving to the dealership (he is in the process of getting an 04 Kinnebell Cobra) Which BTW is freakin fast I got to ride in it today!

Anyways, so iv got some pretty dark tint so you cant see in my car and this REALLLY cute girl pulls up in a mazda 3 next too me so I figured oh yeah double wammy... My buddy just looks at me and starts laughin, he told me not to bother.. Well I bothered..

I rolled down my window and before I could even get it half way down she looked at me and said no.... and I rolled it back up and drove off.. My friend thought it was rather funny....

Yeah its sad Actually I was reading previous threads and came across the what you would change about your self... I would change my confidence towards women. I would have never rolled down my window in the first place if my friend wasnt sitting there.. Im to shy..

Oh well back on topic I ended up kinda laughing at the matter because I told myself she probably had her parents buy that thing for her anyway! But man the heart thing. How sad.. You should have torn it in 2 and told her that is what she had done too you.

part of being able to be confident with women is getting rejected all the time. Have you never heard of the rejection game before? You basically go out to a bar or club and ask as many women as you can for their number, most of them will say no but by the end of the night after you have asked enough you will be left with a few numbers. Go with your buddies and the guy that gets rejected the most gets his drinks covered by everyone in the group, its more incentive to go talk to more girls. Point of the game is it really does prove the whole plenty of fish thing again and again...you gotta play the odds, shy guys don't play the odds enough and they think they don't have a girl because of something they are doing wrong when in reality the only thing you are doing wrong is just not playing the odds.

I have plenty of good stories with the opposite sex and some pretty good moments of shame.

Re: Ok so speak up fellas - Funniest/Worst time getting rejected by a girl.

Not really a rejected story, but a funny almost rejected story.

My wife almost dumped me a couple of times in the first few weeks we were dating.

First time was after our second date. She came up to my place and we went to the movies and dinner and she stayed the night. The next day we watched some movies and she had to take off to visit a friend at a nearby college. Well the person never answered their cell so she drove back to my place and we went out for dinner. She almost broke up with me then. According to her there was just something she didn't like about me then.

Then about two weeks later she had decided she was going to break up with me because I just wasn't her type she had decided. She called me on the way back from work and figured she would make small talk for a minute or two before breaking up with me. First thing she says is, "so how are you?". My response was, "well, okay I guess. I just found out my Grandfather died."

Needless to say she wasn't so heartless she would break up with me after I just told her that (that was true by the way, about the grandfather just having died). So she said she would call after swim practice that night and we could talk more.

Then all through swim practice she was thinking to herself things like "I feel so bad for him. I hope he is alright". Then it dawned on her that why the heck did she care so much about me if she didn't like me, I wasn't her type and she wanted to break up with me. Then she realized maybe she really did care about me a lot.

The rest as we say is history.

Things might have worked out the same in the end anyway, but in a way I can honestly say my grandfather dying saved my relationship (as new as it was) and allowed us to stay together long enough to really fall and love.

Kind of bitter sweet.

I like to talk.

That translates into liking to type.

Okay sort of an amusing one. Back for my senior prom I dragged my heels asking this one girl in my calc class to prom. When I finally found my cajones buried in my boxers somewhere and asked her she was going with someone else. Then I fished around some more down there and realized I might even have a pair of cajones, and not just one and asked another girl I had a crush on to prom. That one ended with her just about saying "why the heck would I want to go with you?"

So one of my good friends who also didn't have a date and I ended up going to the movies during prom instead. I paid for the movie he paid for the burgers at checkers later. It was a man date thing. It ended up being more fun then prom probably was because when we were at the checkers a local hot rod club pulled in so we spent about an hour with our heads under the hoods of several fine ass cars. A shelby GT350, a shelby cobra kit car, a 1969 silver stingray corvette 427 with tripower (my other good friend in HS had a '69 yellow stingray 427 with side pipes, but he had the regular carbs, not the tri barrel ones), a '70 camero SS with a 454 under the hood and a '68 charger with a supercharged 426.

It was fun.
