Any Uberzone fans?

I've seen them a total of 3 times live (twice in Orlando, once in Miami - maybe I'll upload some pics and vids - fyi if you haven't seem them live you know NOTHING about Uberzone) and personally met Q twice. If you've been keeping up to date with them then perhaps you're aware that Q is releasing the first Uberzone album with original material in some 6 years called "Ideology". Well boys and girls guess who's doing some remix work for his current label Nitrus Records? 8) Friday night I came home to a small package from the record label. I opened it up and to my surprise it was....

A copy of the new fuckin' album! This shit doesn't come out for another month and I've got a legit copy to work from. Very excited. I can tell you that the new album will be worth the wait. It's probably his greatest work IMO. In all there are about 14 tracks total. If you have any questions about the album let me know. I just wanted to give some people a heads up and see how many Uzi's were lurking.

Oh and hell no you can't get a copy so don't even - support the artist and the small lables for the good of the scene.

Re: Any Uberzone fans?

dude i own like 1000s of cds so i know where you're coming from and half that shit is promos.

i'm sort of ashamed to say that i don't know who uberzone is. are they out of an indie cali label? never heard of "nitrus", can you name some others on the label? maybe point me to a good album to pick up if possible?

i'd appreciate it as a fellow electro-fan, as i assume it is within this vein.

Yeah they're based out of Cali (like almost every thing else ) He was on a bigger label with his previous album "Faith In the Future" (Astralworks I believe) but wanted more creative control and saw that the industry was not looking healthy at the time. If you're into funky electro-breaks stuff then you'll enjoy this new album. Two singles have already been released "Satisfaction" and "FUBAR" that you might be able to find online.

http://www.myspace.com/uberzonedropthetone is updated more than the offical site so he says it's better to check there.

Re: Any Uberzone fans?

Oh and Wired All Wrong is also on the same label - kind of a indie alt rock band with some electronica type editing/production.
