What cell phone should I get?

So, I had Verizon for about 4 years. Then I read about the IPhone coming out. So last April. I stopped my Verizon contract and went with Virgin until the IPhone would come out so I could buy that and switch to Cingular. But, now that it is out, I am not sure. So, I have narrowed it down to the following phones. Which one of these phones would you buy?

Known as the T-Mobile Wing, Cingular 8525 or the Sprint Mogul.

Blackberry Curve (Basically just a pumped up version of the Blackberry Pearl)

Thanks for the ideas. But I am more curious about what people think about the 4 I listed. Beyond these 4, I am not super interested in much else.

if you did all that to get the iphone might as well go through with it. Seems like the iphones been on your mind longer than it has been on mine. I knew I would get it one once I heard about it. its awesome

Having that said, the 8525 hands down!

One of the main reasons the IPhone made me rethink was the lack of a memory slot. (Even though I know other people have other complaints, but the rest are just eh to me.) What if I want more memory than 8GB? Every other major phone has the option of adding more memory. I could see using up that 8GB very quickly.

The 8525 is what I am leaning towards right now. I knew someone that had the 8125 and it was pretty sweet.

Re: What cell phone should I get?

How about one that makes phone calls.

Thats all I need mine for. Verizon certainly seems to have the best network hands down in my experience.

PS if I need a music player that is why I have my Ipod.

PPS Anyone notice that Apple/AT&T don't advertise, but when your Iphone battery dies you have to ship it off to have the battery replaced, about a 1 week turn around time and $75 (about twice what a new battery is for a regular cell phone, if not more). The battery is soldered to the board...so you CAN'T get a replacement battery to just pop out and slap a new one in. Most retard design I have ever seen for something as high drain as a cell phone.

Speaking of which I am kind of annoyed that the full sized Ipods don't have removable batteries. It would be quite nice sometimes for extended times away from a wall outlet to have a spare...like hiking or what not. My shuffle has a damned long battery life and you can make (for about $20 if you have some minor skills) a charger for it out of an altoid tin, some components and a pair of AA bateries...enough to give the Shuffle about 50 hours of battery life. More then enough for a week of backpacking for me.

Same idea as a swiss army knife....I could carry around with me a watch, a calender, an alarm clock, my Ipod, my "phone", my portable DVD player, a calculator, my digital camera and my video camera...but instead of doing that and needing a man purse, I'd rather just have it all in one device.

If they could add on a TV remote to it, garage door opener, electric razor, car key fob, and everything that comes in a swiss army knife, then I'd be ok with that too. But until then...

I had the 8125 for awhile myself, I would go back to in a heartbeat if I didn't have my o2 now.
