Do you Use 56K dial-up?

Just curious to see who still uses 56K dial-up.
I think that connection speed is pretty much obsolete now in modern homes/offices.

Sometimes my Earthlink DSL is so slow I feel like I'm on dialup.

Comcast high-speed, coming in to my box by way of dual LAN inputs. Connected for 8 days at 200Mbps

Re: Do you Use 56K dial-up?

Had Charter/Earthlink cable in like 1998, switched to SBC DSL in like 1999-2000, still have that at my parents today. I have comcast at my house (dammit verizon, launch FIOS in my neighborhood! it's all around me!)

Well... they could have changed it. That signal didn't have to be amped through speakers.

I don't think I've owned a modem in years... I suppose my old T40 has one built in... not even my new laptops do though (though of course, could get a usb modem easily enough).

I hope the price of FIOS drops soon.
