Can us guys have a topic in here to ask you ladies questions?

I have one.

Do you think it is wierd when your boyfriend/husband has a female friend who they are pretty close with. And how do you gals usually deal with it? Or expect from the guy?

Because for some reason or another, I just feel like im doing something wrong when i "lets say" go and hang out with one of my old girlfriends alone at a diner just to catch up. Should i feel like i am doing something wrong?

Ummmmm......YES!!!!!! I know that I would not be extremely happy if my fiance went to go and "catch up" with one of his ex girlfriends! That is in the past and your current girlfriend/fiance/wife is your present and your future. Leave what is in the past in the past.

Or maybe try turning the tables around. What if your girl was like "I'm gonna go to a diner with my old boyfriend to catch up....cuz I really miss those old times and wanna see how he's doing." I'm pretty sure you would feel uncomfortable about that.

But that's just my opinion. Take it or leave it.

having chick friends is not bad at all. catching up with an ex when you have a girlfriend can send your otherwise cool girlfriend into a state of rage.

Well, I guess I can see it from another perspective.

My boyfriend, Ken, dated this girl in high-school who he is still really good friends with. She is over his house a lot because she is also really good friends with Ken's twin brother. I have no problem with him hanging out with her (or any other girl for that matter). It is all a matter of trust.

Yes personally I would feel weird. Now unless he had this "girl" friend before we started dating. Then I would have to be ok with it. Cause it was there before we knew eachother type thing.

well with my Ex it was only a 3 month relationship. Nothing intimate, and we both realised we were better off and had a better time as friends. So its not like we are ex-lovers. And it was once in 1.5 years that i have seen her. And with my Girlfriend seeing her Ex.... well she does still see him... hes in a coma in a hospital bed :\ Its sort of sad though and i don't mind

Oh wow.....

Well then I guess it depends on the situation. And you should do what you feel is right in your heart. If you feel guilty about it, then you should ask yourself why that is. Maybe talk to your girlfriend about it before you do it and see if she has a problem with it.

hehe well i did go over to my GFs house and cook dinner with her before going out with my Ex. and we did talk about it, but it still just felt odd. I mean it was a good time seeing my ex, we had a lot of laughs (we were always better as friends), but it was just a little strange. eh.. you know!

Re: Can us guys have a topic in here to ask you ladies questions?

I wouldn't really have a problem with it... because most of my friends are guys and I'm pretty good friends with my ex too. He's cool with it and it wouldn't be fair to him if I flipped out over him still talking to an ex or a close girl friend.

But I don't have to worry about his ex's because I'm his first girlfriend

**not on this forum and not unless its in a for sale thread.
