People are liars then.
A number of surveys (as an example http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/18055526/
) have shown that a HUGE number of people cheat or have cheated. About half the people surveyed just in that one have cheated on a partner in the past and about 22% have cheated on their current partner.
Men tend to cheat more often then women.
So basically that shows that women would consider it more then men, but men actual do cheat more then women (and despite the number more people have cheated at least in the past then would consider cheating).
My wife cheated on her second boyfriend after she found out that that boyfriend cheated on her. Otherwise (well, to the best of my knowledge
) neither of us have cheated on anyone.
I don't think I would ever have an affair. I honestly can't say no I never would, becuase I am not arogant enough to think I can just say that and it would never happen. I certain don't ever want to cheat on my wife and I certainly don't think I ever would.
I would say I can understand that whole not putting out enough bit. When my wife and I first started dating we probably had sex once or twice a day. Before she got pregnant we probably had sex a couple of times a week maybe...which is certainly less then I want. However, unlike some people I can deal with that. I've got righty to keep me company when I need it and I love my wife even if I don't get as much action from her as I would like.
I will say since my wife is bisexual I have had at least a few thoughts of a three some, but I am not good at sharing (even if it does mean two women at the same time). My wife isn't very good with it either...so I know it would never work out cause I love her to much and vice versa.
