Going to learn how to shoot super nervous

Ok so my husband wants to teach me to use his gun in case I ever need to. But I am sssooo nervous. He had me told it and handle it last night....and OMG I don't like it.

Is this normal?

And when I do go shooting I have seen how it kicks back at him......I am afraid of hurting myself.....

just stand your ground and control that nerves

cause nervousness and guns don't mix that well

Re: Going to learn how to shoot super nervous

I would start out on something small. A .22 is a great gun to learn on. Its pretty much a glorified BB gun, pretty much zero kick, it isn't loud and they are pretty accurate and fun little plinking guns. I don't own any guns but I've gone shooting a lot and just shot my friends Smith and Wesson 500. I've shot a ton of guns and I was afraid of that thing so no its not weird to be nervous lol

2005 Mazda3 SP23 Hatchback, Progress Springs, Eibach Adjustable Camber Kit, Progress RSB, Mazdaspeed Shocks/Struts, TWM STS, RX-8 Shinka Rims, Sharkfin, other neat stuff

Re: Going to learn how to shoot super nervous

If you don't like the thread or don't have any advice for a first time gun shooter, by all means don't post.
