Knock-out name for baby girl

http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/lifestylebritainnames

Quote:
LONDON (AFP) - Baby Autumn Brown has a name to live up - in fact she has over 25 of them.

The little girl's mother Maria, in keeping with her boxing-mad family's bizarre tradition, decided to give her 25 middle names - all culled from the greatest exponents inside the ring.

Her full name, which left register office staff in Perton, Wolverhampton reeling is: Autumn Sullivan Corbett Fitzsimmons Jeffries Hart Burns Johnson Willard Dempsey Tunney Schmeling Sharkey Carnera Baer Braddock Louis Charles Walcott Marciano Patterson Johansson Liston Clay Frazier Foreman Brown.

Maria told the city's Express and Star: "The whole thing came about because both my mum and dad are obsessed with boxing and have a bit of a daft sense of humour.

"When I was young I couldn't ever remember my name. It took me to the age of 10 to memorise it all."

The 33-year-old mother added: "I'm hoping Autumn has a good sense of humour with her name. It's never done me any harm though."

Like yourself? And anyone else taking this far too seriously? The family has an off the wall sense of humor. But it's all just for fun. The parent has the same middle names, and it's never bothered her since she only goes by two names.. first and last. You don't have to file your middle name in paperwork.

Seriously! Don't take all things so seriously!

Huh? Who's taking it that seriously, lol? Just because I think they're retards who shouldn't be having kids doesn't mean I take it seriously. Afterall it doesn't effect me in the least, but still...

I guess only a candian would understand that familys sense of humor.

Re: Knock-out name for baby girl

All of the people trying to keep records are going to be tormented. Most places don't have enough room for more then about 15 characters for a middle name/names...so she would really only have to memorize her first or at most second middle name. Anything more would never fit on anything. Maybe learn the full abbreviation...which would suck.

PS I personally don't find it amusing. What is so great about HAVING to have a good sense of humor about your name. How about you name your kid something you think they might like some day? Ever hear of that?

It is serious, though. It's her NAME, not a joke.
