Why are Women so Difficult? (NEED ADVICE)

I'm tired, and frustrated, so I'll simplify the situation for you.

So here's the deal:

This weekend, a few good buddies of mine went out - Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday night. Now, I told the g/f that I was going out, and was indeed going to drink, and she said fine. Not to mention she does, too, and I never get mad about it (keep that in mind). So, after the long weekend, she asks for pics (it's a thing we do, since it's long distance). So, I send her some from the weekend, and she flips, saying that I was 'fucking wasted' when I said I was going to drink, etc etc (I admit, I was happily buzzed, but not trashed. I know my limits). Some of the pics were of me jokingly jumping up and down in a pick up with a friend with WATER in our hands, and she said I was an idiot, I lied to her, blah blah blah. WTF?

She continued to ride my ass, saying how she can't trust me anymore because I 'lied' to her, and all this other shit. She even threatened to break up numerous times, why, I'm not sure. Not to mention she said she's 'never seen me that happy', even when I'm with her. Keep in mind I'm not a very emotional person, but I didn't realize having a guys night out and enjoying it was a crime.

So, with that said, I need the females of the forums to analyze. If you need more details, feel free to ask, but I'm completely fucking stumped. I have a feeling it's due to her being in that time of the month, but w/e. I'm supposed to be going to pick her up tomorrow to drive home to celebrate our 2 year anniversary, so my hope is this can be resolved asap.

Thanks, as usual,
Kyle

Yeah, Oneill, It just comes with the territory. I'm going on 6yrs with the g/f. My lady has had a similar problem with me about my buds. The problem, as it was explained to me, is that you're spending time with the Buds instead of her. To her, that's time that you preferred being around them instead of her. So she took it personal.

Not to mention you had FUN!!!!! OH NO!!!!!

Unless you promised her you wouldn't drink, drove drunk or you were hitting on some other girl or something why does this matter? You are an adult (I'm assuming) and you have every right to get shit faced falling down urinating in public drunk.

I think the whole problem has nothing to do with drinking and everything to do with "you having fun without her"

Re: Why are Women so Difficult? (NEED ADVICE)

She talked to her mom, and her mom basically made her realize she was being ridiculous (her and her mom are really close, and her mom and I are as well). She somewhat apologized, but not officially, so as of right now, we're back to normal (talking about what we are going to do this weekend, etc). The only downside is that she is indeed on her period, and it's our anniversary, so there won't be any of the good make-up stuff. Oh well.

If anything changes, you all will be the first to know. Thanks for the words.

Re: Why are Women so Difficult? (NEED ADVICE)

Anytime, I've gone through similar cases with my girlfriend over the past few years. It will wear off for the most part with time (time spent together)... it used to be that I avoided going out with the guys without her because 90% of the time in resulted in me returning to a sulking woman and hearing about how I like my friends more than her. Now I hear "You haven't hung out with the guys in a while, I bet they miss you, you should go biking or something and maybe hit the bars" which translates into "Get your smelly ass out of the house I need some alone time, then I'm going shopping and seeing a cheesy movie with my girlfriends"
