Avoid eBayer: dohccivicna1250

Ok, so I bid on a set of Gorilla 12x1.5mm spline lug nuts from this clown.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...730&rd=1,1

I get them in the mail... and this is what shows up:

I realize that I spent over $30.00 for some cheapass imitations from Autozone. It says explicitly (even using the Gorilla picture) that they are authentic GORILLA spline lug nuts.

I sent him the above picture along with an explanation of why I feel like I am owed a full refund to include return shipping. But the cost to pay to originally ship it to me, the cost to ship it back, and the fact that he won't refund the original shipping makes this not worth my time to really dispute. So, I will slander his name in hopes that he loses a handful of customers.

And the thing that really pisses me off is that if I leave negative feedback, he will leave negative feedback for me. I have a lower score as it is, so it has a higher detriment to my percentage than his. :x

There's a reason things are cheaper on eBay...

If you paid via Paypal, file a claim with them as well. If he doesn't respond to them, or doesn't give them a satisfactory explanation about the product, they'll reverse the charge.

+1

If he's not going to willingly refund you 100% for HIS mistake, then use paypal to force him. If you funded your paypal purchase with a credit card, that's another layer of protection.

He's got a fair amount of negative feedback. It still comes to a 95% rating, but considering the volume of transactions he has there are a lot of people that are pissed at him.

It was actually a character from a spy card game. When I had sideburns one of my friends used to say it was pretty much how he thought I'd look in 30 years.

Ahhh, it looked like Gerry Adams holding a pistol. Now THAT would have made for an interesting thread!

Re: Avoid eBayer: dohccivicna1250

the ebay feedback system is fucked. someone rips you off, so you leave them negative feedback and they simply make some shit up and give you negative feedback as well. silly.

as for what to do, what else can you do but file a complaint with ebay/paypal? oh well.
