My father is selling me his Dodge Charger

So my father decided to sell his Dodge Charger, and i decided to buy it from him for a good price

I got sick of modifying and getting into a lot of trouble with my WRX so it's going to be sold

Also just got bored of the Mazda3 so it's going to be sold also

I am working my ass of to pay off those cars plus insurance and all the stuff plus i am a college student

i got tired so decided to go with one car

I am thinking of trading my 2004 Subaru WRX and get once again a Mazda3 hatchback but this time brand new...with the gas prices and insurance the WRX is not too reliable for a college student

Re: My father is selling me his Dodge Charger

I guess do what makes you happy, but especially as a college student wouldn't it make the most sense to keep the 3? I would imagine it has the lowest insurance out of the 3 cars (I would imagine by quite a bit), cost of maitenance I would also think would generally be lower, parts costs generally lower, and also better gas milage.

I know I would rather have had a nice car in college, but practical saved me a crap load more money. Just a thought, but do what you think is best.

Re: My father is selling me his Dodge Charger

The Mazda3 2.3 S Sedan (with 16 inch rims) cost more per 6 months to insure than my Charger Daytona with the 5.7. Plus parts can be had really cheap for the Charger due to the volume of sales and the numbers already showing up at you-pull-it yards.

I guess fuel economy and parking are worse with the larger sedan though..... although my Mazda3 had its own mpg issues.

Anyways, assuming your dad's charger has the 5.7 - you'll probably get speeding tickets still

Even though I don't have much trust in the three american auto makers, I think all things considered I would take that badass Charger over my regular Mazda3... What Charger is it? PICS!

Yeah, that's the same dirt road we drove up for your "arch illegal parking" picture. Except this time I backed down the road a bit so I didn't get my car dirty. heh.
