Anti-theft mod?

I was wondering if anyone has taken off their door panel and tried to figure this theft secret out so we can defeat it with a homemade mod, @ the same time, be careful not to tell people how to successfully break n to our cars!!! Any ideas?

Re: Anti-theft mod?

i think the secret is already out there, one dude here found it. Just gotta search I suppose.

I heard something about rx8 thingys in place of our mazda3 ones.

Mazda usa + Mazda dealerships are acting dumb about it.

My dealership said it was a myth and to try it on my door. Jerks.
I wanna poo on their doorstep and light it on fire and ring the doorbell and run.

haha.

Is texas dealerships the same? I am never buying a mazda again.
I will never talk good about mazda to my family or friends, car clubs, or anyone. Sure it looks nice, its quick, but the support sucks!

I have to disagree here.. my support is great, i don't think i have the problem w/ my car, i called the dealer and they seem cool, they are aware of this issue and my 07 has the components in a different place or something cuz it's not supposed to work on them. I think if you told them you are a forum member and brought them an article on it, they can't really deny it, can they?

Re: Anti-theft mod?

i told them about how everyone is talking about it on the internet, it happened to some ppl, and it was on the car website (forgot name now).

they said "its a myth" "try it on your car" what jerks. I havent talked to the manager ever since that day when ive been in. He just looks at me.

Re: Anti-theft mod?

you should try a different dealership, or go above the guy's head, there's usually someone over everyone. sry to hear that shit tho, i would throw a fit in front of all their prospective buyers, until they either did what i want, or called the cops

Re: Anti-theft mod?

If you have an alarm that would help. The factory disarm is not going to disarm an aftermarket alarm.
