You know what sucks?

Finally getting serious about the 3 ordered a K&N CAI, TWM Shortshift, a Hidden Hitch, Buddy Club and a Borla CBE two weeks ago. I was so excited to get this stuff installed when it finally came. So, the wife and I went skiing in WV the weekend of the 16th. Guess who broke their left knee avoiding an amateur snowboarder? Yep, now I have a lot of boxes of goodies sitting in my garage along with a 3 I can't drive for 12 weeks. Oh well, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Re: You know what sucks?

12 weeks?

I know knees are more complicated than just breaking a bone, but that's harsh.

Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Re: You know what sucks?

Thanks for all the encouraging words. Check out the nasty CT scan. Wednesday, I am getting a bone graft from a cadaver and a steel plate bolted in for good measure.

I got the Borla through my employer, NAPA. If I told you how much I paid, you would want to break my other knee. Let's just say one of the benefits of working for an auto parts retailer is parts at cost. Same for the K&N CAI.
