What happened to your previous car...?

Has anyone ever wondered what happened to a car you previously owned?

Is it still running? Or totaled? If it still looks the same?

Re: What happened to your previous car...?

My boosted 98 Saturn SC2 is now being driven by the sheisty bitch who practically stole it from me. Long story short, we agreed she would pay me $4,000 for the car. She gave me a check for $1,500 and said she would have the rest of the money to me within a week. We worked together so I trusted her. After two days, she blew the engine because she didn't know how to drive the car and blamed me. She straight up told me that I wasn't getting the rest of my money. Nothing I could do because we had no written agreement nor witnesses who heard us make our verbal agreement. It makes me sick every time I see that car driving around.

**not on this forum and not unless its in a for sale thread.

The trusty, rusty '85 Accord is snoozing in the driveway, semi-retired to beater duty.

'90 Acrua Integra. Dealer gave me $500 which was $150 more than it was worth. Probably auctioned for parts.

Re: What happened to your previous car...?

-93 Corolla, blew the engine, replaced it, sold it to a high-school girl for 3200$. Saw it 3 years later at work one day. (I know my plate numbers better than I know my phone number.)
-95 TSi- Blew the engine, scrapped it, needed too much work (Someone is going to ressurect that car, I know it.)
-89 Escort- Blew the tranny, scrapped it. (I bought it for 350$ when the Talon was in the shop, one of MANY times.)
-05 Sp23 Hatch- Traded it in on the current ride (07 Speed3). Was sold less than a week later. It was a sweet car. I miss it, sometimes.

Re: What happened to your previous car...?

'74 Plymouth Scamp with a 318ci V8, and police package (posi traction). Timing change broke, and the engine lost compression. Screwed up the valves. Junked it in '86. I miss that car.

'86 Chevy Cavalier Z24 was Stolen in '92. I saw parts of her on different cars. My wheels ended up on a '89 Chevy Corsica [the '86 Z24 had unique wheels, and mine had a curb rash. I knew them right away.] My 2.8li V6 ended up in a Chevy Barreta I had the rocker cover painted blue, and silver, and I saw some punk kid working on the engine with his car jacked up. I asked him where he got the engine. He said some chop shop under the expressway. So, I found the shop, and had my father (a State Cop) sting the place! It took a few months, but they raided it! That was sweet. They had 6 stolen cars in the joint at the time. Mine was already long stripped for parts. In court one of the guys said that Z24s had tons of parts for 15 different Chevy cars, and they could get 10x as much for my car if they chopped it. I got the insurance money, and went without a car for a few years. I really didn't need one living in NYC.

'97 Chevy Malibu (first year they reintroduced the name plate). I still have her. She can sit for 3 months, and start on the first twist of the key. It a nice car with decent power for what she was. The V6 never felt like it was working hard to maintain 80MPH on the highway. I'll keep her for a few more months. Then I may sell her for what ever I can get. Or keep her as a station car.
