Anyone Work For SPRINTPCS?

Does anyone on here work for SprintPCS?
I need help.
Here is the deal. On Jan 23 I called SprintPCS to find out when my contract expired. According to representive my contract expired on the 20Jan07. I explained that I was switching to Cingular since Sprint does not get reception on the Coast Guard base in Petaluma, CA.
The Rep said that their would not be extra charges since the contract expired.
So I switched to cingular on the 5th Feb.

So I go to check the mail today and received the sprintpcs bill for $480.00
I am getting charged 450.00 for cancellation charge. (I had 3 phones on my account)

Anyway I call Sprintpcs and they said that they are sorry I was miss informed my contract actually expires in OCT 07 and that I need to email Headquarters or write a letter to Headquarters and take the dispute up with them.

Can anyone help me out?
Al

Re: Anyone Work For SPRINTPCS?

I don't work for them, but I would look up my cell phone agreement. I'm not sure, Sprint might even put the expiration of your account on your bills. Anyway, be sure that Jan 20 is the proper expiration date of your account. If so, there is absolutely no way they can charge you that.
