FYI, insolvency means you can't pay your debts. This make you wonder how everybody else keeps on making wheels given that aluminum prices have been known to be on the rise for like 3 years now.

Anyways - i the biggest challenge is that I won't be able to buy these rims for my car in Gran turismo...

As an aside, was it TGM3 that submitted the news article to autoblog? Does he read German? Tune in to Batman next week to see the exciting resolution!

Re: Wow... looks like BBS is going bankrupt.....

What BBS wheels in general, or that specific line of BBS wheels? In general BBS wheels are pretty damn expensive, and just don't have the bling appeal a lot of 'thugs with lugs' like. They are neither chrome nor are they hub caps from walmart. There for their appeal was just lost to 75% of the aftermarket 'wheel' crowd, plus being on the high end of expensive losses more appeal.

They mainly appeal to the Euro crowd. I rarely see anything other than VW's with BBS rims. JDM FTW!!

I really like the RGRs, too, but not in gold.

I see A LOT of bimmers with BBS's on them. Mostly old 5 series. I wanted BBS rims for mine like the ones above but all silver.
