Anti spy ware help! (move to the right place if needed)

hey everyone...well i'm kind of in a dump. i had to do a system recover on my laptop which sucks but its all good. but i'm looking for a good anti spy ware program, that would possibly be free or if anyone can hook me up with a program thats reliable and up to notch. thanks in advance.

spybot search and destroy, adaware, hijackthis. basically you can get them here (its my personal site with a zipped folder full of the above software)

thanks, how do you us "hijackthis" ????? is just like the other two programs? i've had those two before so its no big deal on those but for that one other program how does it work?? i dont want to delete something that i might need.

there's a section just for hijackthis logs at tech-forums. Just post up the log, and they will tell you what you can/can't delete

AdAwareSE is good. I ended up buying Spysweeper. it works like a charm.

Went from a brand new 06 Silver Hatch to a Crispy 06 Hatch to a White 06 tC

Anybody find this a tiny bit ironic? adelossa, I appreciate what you're trying to do here, but I personally wouldn't start running programs oput of a zip file called "spyware.zip" from a guy's personal site. That tends to be how users get infected with spyware in the first place
