International Shipping Questions

Got a few:

1) What carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc) is the cheapest? I'm not looking to have it there ASAP, but as long as it gets there, it doesn't matter.

2) Can you do Media Mail (via USPS) internationally?

3) Who is the most reliable?

4) Tracking is an option, right?

Thanks,
Kyle

Re: International Shipping Questions

I'm pretty sure you can do media mail international. Tracking is an option for USPS if you pay for it but I think you get the tracking included with FedEx and UPS. I would say USPS would be the cheapest, although probably not the most reliable (in my selling experience UPS is the most reliable).

Are you sending out that PS2?

I am. The money is here, staying, and it's about to be spent

As long as I have tracking, I don't care. I checked int'l rates, and it's like ~20 bucks for the box, which is what he paid me for. Now, if I do media mail, it'll be a lot cheaper, right? That'll be awesome if so.

Re: International Shipping Questions

So I guess you decided to send the PS2 to the UK address?

Media mail is definitley cheaper but you might want to verify that you can still send media mail intl.

True. I'm going to tomorrow, I'll call them and ask. I'm in no rush to send it, though, the guy is a jerk, so he can wait, lol. I emailed him and said it'd be out this week, didn't say when, though

Re: International Shipping Questions

I'm pretty sure there is no media mail service for international shipping. I recommend sending it via USPS Global Express, it comes with a tracking number, the other international shipping methods do not.

Re: International Shipping Questions

Keep in mind the box is only a few pounds, and I want to go the cheapest, yet traceable route

Re: International Shipping Questions

If you want cheap: USPS Global Priority mail

If you want traceability and insurance, I'd go FedEx. Plus, I've heard FedEx can be a bitch about getting stuff through customs, so maybe you'd even have another chance to jerk with the guy.
