Best free anti-virus program

Is.....
I have McAfee, and it didn't work too well. What should I replace it with?

First, do a scan with this online tool: http://www.trendmicro.com/hc_intro/default.asp

Then, install either AVG or Avast!

avg for sure !!! be sure to get the virus scanner and the malware scanner, 2 different programs

I have AVG. It's onw of the best ones that i've had.

AVG is what I use, both at work and at home

AVG from Grisoft. No doubt about it.

I've always used avast. i like the interface and i've never had an infection and it's not a resource hog like norton.

i like norton, but i dont try out other programs, and yeah norton sometimes dont let me open a webpage until it ran its little startup thing first, sucks.
