eBay Question

Quick question for eBay'ers:

If your reserve isn't met on a bid, you have the right to not sell it, right? As in you can choose if you want to meet what they are offering? And if it isn't met, and the sale doesn't go through, does eBay charge you listing fees?

Re: eBay Question

Ebay offers you a chance to relist the item if it doesn't meet the reserve(free the first time), if you dont relist you still pay the original listing fee, you do not have to sell to the high bidder if they did not meet the reserve.

Re: eBay Question

Exactly. You can relist or do a second chance offer to the highest bidder. See if they want it. But like MZ3sZoomZoom already stated. You can relist. And you do get charged listing fees again.

Re: eBay Question

basically you can offer to sell the item to a person who wasn't the original higher bidder, but did bid (and got outbid) on the item.
