Sorry... This is out of place for me because I am an animal lover for the most part, but its just a horse that died. Not your horse or mine, just a horse that had way too much money spent on it, and probably went through way more pain than necessary just ending in the same ultimate result. And the media made way too much hoopla over this horse. Just my opinion though.

Yeah, but c'mon. The guy could have put it down then, made 20 million via insurance, but vowed to spend his own personal money to keep it alive. The fact that it lived so long was a miracle within itself

Ya... gotta give respect where it's due, but me being a broke 21 year old student, spending that kinda money just doesn't make since. And now as I watch ESPN, they are talking about that horse all day long...

I hear ya. I'm broke in college, too, but apparently the guy really liked the horse. I was going to watch SportsCenter, but realized, like you said, that this will be the only thing on. Meh.
