Its cold... but who cares!

Hey... I like the moonroof, its basically my favourite window! So today i was driving and it was such a nice day outside, I decided to at least tilt up the roof on the highway while it was -20oC outside ... so my question, what's the coldest you've driven with the roof open? me... i think fully open was -10oC (10oF)... with -20oC (-10oF) tilt... (that's what the car was saying... so remove a couple of degrees for actual temp... and not sure if my Celsius/Fahrenheit conversion is alright)

I had mine open on the way back from snowboardin last week. This was like 3 in the morning. It was probably in the mid teens F. I had all my snow gear on so I was hot as shit, lol. I generally like to stay cool

Hey I'm more tropical than Chicago. Southern Indiana FTW. Actually the weather sucks here lately, lol.

Every now and then I take off down a straightaway, open all the windows and let all the dust floating around in my car blow out the windows. It was 15 degrees F when I did this today for about a full minute.

almost every night, last night it was 11 and it was open, when i do though it is usually the only window open and i have the heat on full blast at my feet, it keeps things the perfect temp, and keeps the air moving so it doesn't feel stuffy like it does with just the heat on.

I like to do this too... there is nothing quite so refreshing as cold winter air, but if you keep the heat on your feet, it seems to be bearable and comfortable while driving. You won't catch me doing this with the fiance in the car though... she'd be screaming at me!

Re: Its cold... but who cares!

I always ride with a window or 2 open, cant stand being secluded from the outside.

Few years ago me and a buddy put his top down in 10 degree weather and drove for half hour like that, one guy rolled his window down and said WRONG SEASON! Head was freezing but legs were warm

Re: Its cold... but who cares!

I gotta agree. I love the cold winter air, not so much being in it for a long time, but its very refreshing, when you're out in the country that is anyway.

I do the blast my heat and open my moonroof too lol. My friends act like I'm nuts, but I love it.
