Watch out guys... im ticked!

Ok so yeah, im bout to drive to Colorado and whoop some ass. As you guys may remember, bout a month ago I bought some rims on eBay. Got em home and found out that one doesn't match the other 3. Called the guy, he tells me that he will see what he can do. He didn't call me back for 3 days. FINALLY i decided to call HIM. He tells me that there is nothing he can do. So then I tell him I want a refund. He says no, its past the return date. RETURN DATE OF 14 days AFTER the auction. The rims got here 13 days after. What the hell was i suppose to do? So now my only options are to either sell them or sue him. I told him today that I think it is complete BS that he would screw me over like this. He then says sorry and that there is nothing he can do and hangs up. This is completely stupid. So yeah, what do yall think?

Just another day at Ebay. Why the hell do you buy stuff on there? And wheels to boot?!?!?!? Maybe you will learn your lesson not to deal with Ebay. Its scam central on there.

Did you leave negative feedback? File a paypal claim? Threaten to cut off his nuts with a rusty butter knife?

Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer

Ummm... report it to paypal and get a refund? If you used a CC to fund your paypal payment, that's even an extra layer of security. I bought an $800 CPU on ebay that never showed up. When I got sick of the guy's BS and filed a claim with paypal, it was too late. I called Discover, and told them what happened. They refunded my entire payment, along with the accrued interest without the slightest hesitation.

File a complaint with the BBB (if he's a business) or with the state's attorney general. I got a quick reply from the attorney general in my case, but I don't think they pursued it very far, once I told them I'd recovered my payment from the CC company.

Seriously, let paypal and you credit card company do the dirty work. As long as you're not repeatedly filing disputes, they should be happy to go to bat for you.

Re: Watch out guys... im ticked!

My only other option is settle... i can get the rim polished and buy a matching cap in order to look like the rest. im still concerned about the bolt holes though, i might have to bore em out. Its got the same face pattern and all but like i said, the face is unpolished, wrong cap, smaller bolt holes.

If you used the postal service you can file a mail fraud claim. They'll jump on his ass and not let go till he fixes it.
