Re: Apple Introduces widescreen iPod/iPhone

huh, i thought they would have scrapped that idea. i dont see it doing that great with as much competition as there is in the cell phone market.

Re: Apple Introduces widescreen iPod/iPhone

If it works half as well as it sounds I could see there being a demand for it. I'd be willing to pay a premium for that kind of tight integration, but $500 on top of a 2 year contract is WAY out of my price range. Competition aside, modern cell phones are a pain in the ass.

I dunno, I have at least 2 friends looking at it seriously. I want one, but it not being on vzw is a killer for me.

Being a Cingular member, and needing a new phone, it looks tempting. Dunno if the price is worth it, guess I'll check it out once it arrives here.

If it delivers as promised, it's freakin amazing. Of course, the price is very high, so that's an individual decision.

If? As said in the original post, it is a US Cingular Exclusive (and for 2+ years, too).

I mean, Cingular isn't BAD - only VZW is better... certainly Sprint & T-Mobile come nowhere close. But I'd have a hard time justifying switching from vzw.
